The VICTORIOUS project was prominently featured at the 55th International Paris Air Show, held from 16 to 22 June 2025 in Paris-Le Bourget, as part of its ongoing dissemination activities supported by the European Defence Fund (EDF).
Mr. Dimitrios Nodaros, Director of New Technologies Domain at AKMON and Coordinator of VICTORIOUS, presents the project’s vision and objectives to Mr. Jean-Marie Dumon, Deputy Director - Head of Defence and Security at GICAN, in the presence of AKMON’s CEO, Mr. Tassos Rozolis.
The project’s participation was organized by AKMON SA, the project coordinator, reinforcing its commitment to promoting European defence cooperation and technological advancement.
Mr. Nodaros exchanges views with Mr. Julien Hostin, representative of NAVAL GROUP, on the project’s potential operational applications.
During the exhibition, leading European stakeholders expressed growing interest in the innovative solutions developed by VICTORIOUS, which aims to deliver AI-enhanced, remotely powered, unmanned observation and targeting systems for indirect fire operations.
VICTORIOUS was also presented to the Canadian MetaCluster TIASI, with Mr. Dimitrios Nodaros introducing the project’s scope and strategic impact to Mr. Sotiris A. Bouzeas, CEO of TIASI, reflecting the project’s growing international visibility.
Through its presence at the Paris Air Show, VICTORIOUS continues to actively promote European defence collaboration and technological sovereignty, showcasing itself as a tangible example of cross-border innovation supported by the European Defence Fund.
